Accessibility help

Paw Crew is built to work with the accessibility settings on your iPhone. Here is what each one does in the app, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

Settings Paw Crew supports

VoiceOver
Every button, pet avatar and drawing has a label. The pet menu reads as the pet's name and tells you how to choose another. The app tour reads each stop aloud and moves focus to what it describes.
Larger text
Text follows Dynamic Type up to the largest accessibility sizes. When pet names no longer fit as tabs, they become one menu, so no name is cut off.
Reduce Motion
Animations are replaced by simple fades, including the tour spotlight.
Reduce Transparency and Increase Contrast
The glass tab bar and controls switch to the system's solid, higher contrast versions.
Colour and contrast
Text in all three themes, light and dark, meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1. Colour is never the only way information is shown: each log also has an icon and a name.
Large Content Viewer
Tab labels are always present, so touching and holding a tab shows it larger.
Siri and Voice Control
Log by voice with Siri, for example Log a walk for Max, or with Voice Control by saying the name of a button.

This website

pawcrew.app works with screen readers and keyboard navigation, follows your light or dark setting, respects reduced motion, and reflows for zoom and larger text.
