The short version
This website stores one thing it needs, and asks before it stores anything else.
- It remembers your answer to the cookie banner, in your own browser.
- If, and only if, you click Yes, count it, it loads Google Analytics, which sets two cookies so we can count visits.
Click No thanks or ignore the banner, and Google Analytics never loads. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, that counts as no. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings button in the footer.
The Paw Crew app uses no cookies at all, and has no analytics of any kind.
1. What this page covers
This policy covers cookies and similar browser storage on pawcrew.app, the website of Paw Crew, published by Kallos Labs LLC. It sits alongside the privacy policy, which explains what the data is used for, the legal basis and your rights.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar place in your browser where a website can keep a small value. Both stay on your device; what matters is who reads them and why.
2. The complete list
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Type | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
pawcrew-consent |
pawcrew.app (first party) | Remembers whether you said yes or no to analytics, so the banner does not ask on every page. Holds only granted or denied and the date you chose. |
Browser local storage. Strictly necessary. | 12 months. After that the banner asks again. It also ends if you change your choice or clear your browser’s site data. |
_ga |
Google Analytics 4, set on pawcrew.app | Tells one browser from another with a random number, so visits can be counted without counting the same person twice | First party cookie. Analytics. Only after you say yes. | Up to 2 years, renewed when you visit |
_ga_<container-id> |
Google Analytics 4, set on pawcrew.app | Keeps the state of your current visit for our Google Analytics property. <container-id> is our property’s identifier. |
First party cookie. Analytics. Only after you say yes. | Up to 2 years, renewed when you visit |
That is everything. There are no advertising cookies, no social media cookies, no remarketing, no fingerprinting and no cross site tracking. We do not embed videos, maps, fonts or widgets from other companies, so nothing else can set a cookie through this site.
3. Strictly necessary storage
pawcrew-consent records your choice and nothing else. It is never sent to us or
to anyone else, and it does not identify you. Because it is needed to respect your
choice, the law does not require consent for it.
If your browser blocks local storage, the site remembers your choice only until you close the page, and the banner asks again next time.
4. Analytics, only after you say yes
The Google Analytics script is not loaded at all until you say yes on the banner. When it does load, the site first tells Google that every kind of storage is denied, then grants analytics storage only. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation stay denied.
- Yes, count it: Google Analytics 4 loads and sets the two cookies above. We use it to see which pages and guides people read and how they found them. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses.
- No thanks: the script is never loaded and no analytics cookie is set.
- Ignore the banner: treated as no. Nothing loads.
- No analytics configured: if the site has no Google Analytics property set up, the banner does not appear at all, because there is nothing to ask about.
We have turned off Google Signals and advertising features. What Google Analytics collects and how long it is kept are in section 11.3 of the privacy policy.
5. Changing your mind
Use the Cookie settings button in the footer of any page to open the banner again and choose differently.
If you say no after saying yes, Google Analytics stops loading straight away and
the site deletes the _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies it can reach. If any
remain, for example because a browser extension kept them, you can clear them in
your browser’s settings.
You can also clear everything the site has stored, including pawcrew-consent,
by clearing site data for pawcrew.app in your browser. The banner will then ask
again.
Your choice lasts 12 months, as some European regulators recommend. After that the banner asks you again.
6. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as no: Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookie is set, whatever you chose before. Under California law and some other US state laws, GPC is a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do neither, and we honour the signal anyway.
Do Not Track. We treat Do Not Track the same way: if your browser sends it, the answer is no. Google Analytics is not loaded, no analytics cookie is set, and the banner does not ask.
7. Browser controls
Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies and site data, for all sites or for one. Look in your browser’s settings under privacy or site data. Blocking cookies on this site does not break anything: the site works exactly the same without analytics.
Google offers a browser add on that stops Google Analytics on every website.
8. The app uses no cookies
The Paw Crew app is not a website and does not use cookies, web trackers or analytics. What it stores on your iPhone and in your iCloud is covered in the privacy policy and the app privacy details.
9. Changes to this policy
If we add, remove or change a cookie, we will update the table above and the date at the top before the change goes live. If a change needs your consent, the banner will ask you again.
